Management of Allergic Rhinitis
The main management strategy for allergic rhinitis is avoiding the allergens that cause the symptoms, medicinal therapy, acupuncture, therapeutic intranasal EY-LLLT, and alternative therapies such as aromatherapy with medical essential oils.
In addition, specific immunotherapy is the only treatment that not only relieves the patients’ symptoms but also eliminates their cause.
Immunotherapy is applied after the identification of the allergen, to desensitize the patient, thus alleviating the patient’s symptoms.
