Sinus examination: Ethmoid sinuses, frontal sinus, maxillary sinus.

The diagnosis of rhinosinusitis or sinusitis is based on the patient’s history and endoscopy of the nose, using a special endoscope and camera. Plain x-ray of the facial sinuses should be avoided because of the radiation administered combined with its low diagnostic reliability.
