The hypothalamus has connections throughout the brain, and the days before a migraine it is more active than usual.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ent.gr\/en\/acupuncture-neurological-diseases\/acupuncture-for-preventing-migraine-attacks\/\">Migraine<\/a> aura, or sensory disturbances, is another common warning sign, which can appear in the form of transient visual changes, tingling on face or hands or even dysarthria. These symptoms are due to changes in the electrical charges of the cell membrane that affects brain activity and blood flow to the brain.
