Ear Microscopy Examination<\/p><\/div>\n

The microscope allows for the accurate removal of ear wax<\/a> (cerumen), foreign bodies and for the performance of a small incision through the layers of the tympanic membrane in order to relieve the middle-ear of the accumulated fluid. Ventilation tubes (grommets) may also be placed to allow for better drainage of the middle-ear fluid.
